What People's Say About Place

The inside asthetic with different shades of green, promotes a relaxing and calm atmosphere. We ordered the Turkey Mozzarella on Focacia, and the Mary Lou sandwiches, which were tasty to the last bite. Also, we ordered a supreme pizza to take home. They offer "take and bake", but we had the pizza baked there. The pizza crust is easy to bite into and the sauce and toppings have a burst of flavor with every bite. We went on a Sunday during lunch, so it was fairly busy, Ashlea was attentive and friendly, and made time to chat with us about her new restaurant.

Came in a bit near closing, but that staff was hands down the most gracious, friendly, and accommodating crew I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. I've managed a restaurant and I can say the staff is a reflection of management. DAMN FINE STAFF AND FOOD!!!! Order the Green chile strips, and Margherita pizza. Words alone cannot begin to do justice explaining the mana from Heaven that was bestowed upon me. I heard an angel say "damn!" So good and bountiful. I'd be willing to bet Eve didn't eat an apple, she ate a slice of that pie. Because dayum DAYUM DAYUMMMM!!

We came to Trailrider on a Sunday afternoon after seeing a picture of their Reuben sandwich. The service was slow, but they had just started in the new space, so we understood. My husband loved the Reuben! I had a burger, which was also good. We will definitely be coming back!

This was our first visit. We're relatively new to the East Mountains and in exploration mode. This will be a favorite for sure. The food was amazing. We had green chile strips for a starter and fish tacos and the Reuben for entrees. The green chile strips were crunchy and spicy with a tiny punch. Delicious but not scary hot. The tacos were delicately tasty. The texture of the tortillas suggested they were homemade. There was kimchi and avocado...delicious. The Reuben was magnificent. The smokiness was detected well before our taste buds received an amazing surprise. So we'll done...probably the best we've had in ages. The fries were perfect. We wish we'd saved room for dessert which includes choices such as Creme Brule, Tiramisu, coconut cream pie, cookies, etc. Rumored to be wonderfully decadent. The vibe there was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Definitely our preference. Anyone will feel welcome here. The service was perfect...friendly, attentive, neighborly. If we still lived in the city, we'd make the drive. There's take-out available and it's very active. The menu has burgers, tacos, pasta, appetizers and pizza. I can't wait to try carne adovada pizza!!!! Come on out...you and your taste buds will be so glad you did.

Best crust ever! Best pizza for miles. Definitely the best pizza in the east mountains. The new space is beautiful, ambient, and friendly. Consistent food, always delicious, and the staff is equally as consistent; and friendly. Watched them grow from a trailer in the parking lot at Molly’s, to a bonafide restaurant on par with the best of them. Proud of Ashlea and her team!

Trail Rider has something for everyone and is in a beautiful spot in the East mountains. Especially if you’re visiting from out of state, see a different side of Albuquerque by coming over this way. It’s close to the Albuquerque, but the laid back vibe and beautiful views are an interesting contrast to what you see in the city. The peace and quiet of the mountains, and the delicious food at Trail Rider is worth your time and money - hands down. If you can get here before 11am, you’ll have the opportunity to try their breakfast burritos, which are my favorite of all the breakfast burritos I’ve ever had anywhere. They even have a wide variety of desserts (vegan and non-vegan). Come on out and enjoy!

This establishment offers a wonderful dining experience with a beautiful view of the mountains, set in what appears to be a charming, rustic ski lodge. It provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for lunch. The Stromboli was exceptional, perfectly complemented by their house-made marinara sauce, and the meal concluded delightfully with a superb piece of tiramisu.

My boyfriend and I went there today to purchase something that the owner, Ashlea, was selling. Once we finished with that business we decided to eat lunch there. We have never been to this restaurant and wanted to try it out. The atmosphere is awesome. They have this bar in there when you first walk in that we were told was made from one tree. It's amazing the work that was put into this. Then we ordered our meal. Let me tell you it was the best I have ever had. We live in Albuquerque but travel to Edgewood once a month for our doctor's appointments. We plan on eating lunch, or dinner, there every time we have to go to the East side of the mountains. The owner, along with her employees, are the best. They make you feel like family. If you have questions, they take the time to answer you. You MUST try this restaurant. I promise you. You won't be disappointed.
